The Hitch and Tow is located in Aiken, SC, and is owned by Paul and Morgan Batton.
The Hitch and Tow, LLC is a proud dealer of 4 Star Trailers, Sundowner Trailers, Gore Trailers, and Kingston Trailers, and also offers a large inventory of pre-owned trailers.
Morgan and Paul Batton form a skilled business partnership that provides top quality service and horse trailers.

Morgan Batton

Born in the heart of horse country in Southern Pines, NC, Morgan has a passion for both horses and business. Graduating from Clemson University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Marketing, Morgan first pursued her professional career in the senior living industry with Harbor Retirement Associates, becoming one of the top performing sales directors, and later selected as a Sales Mentor in 2013. In 2015, Morgan and husband Paul began The Hitch and Tow, bringing in quality used trailers to recondition and sell.

Morgan brings a professional sales background and her experience in the horse industry to The Hitch And Tow, connecting buyers and sellers in the horse trailer marketplace.

Paul Batton

Paul was born and raised in Aiken, SC to a family of engineers. Paul grew up assisting his father in maintaining their 50 rental properties, learning many valuable skills. Paul graduated from Clemson University in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Paul oversees the maintenance of all trailers received at The Hitch and Tow.

Caroline Price

Caroline Gilliam is our Sales Manager here at The Hitch & Tow. Caroline became a teammate with us in the Spring of 2019. Caroline is from the Tryon, NC area. She attended Converse College with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. While at Converse she competed on their IHSA Equestrian team for all four years. She just recently moved to the Aiken area with her husband. She has two Labradors, Cummins and Dixie! In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, friends, and her dogs. One of Caroline’s favorite past times is getting out on the farm and riding horses!

Catina Lamb

Catina Lamb is our receptionist here at The Hitch & Tow. Catina started with us in spring of 2019. Catina is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loves her family and enjoys spending time with her grand-kids, Trent and Hazel Grace. She has immense value in our company and she works in our brand new building. She embodies the top notch customer service that The Hitch & Tow is known for. With 13 years of automotive experience she is outstanding in her ability to help customers and schedule for our service shop. Catina always has a positive attitude and a smile on her face!

Lexi Conrad

Born and raised in the Carolinas, Lexi Conrad attended Clemson University first for a BA in Biology, followed by a MS in Chemistry. After completing her education, she came down to Aiken, SC to be closer to family and joined our team in 2018. In her spare time she enjoys training young horses, playing board games, and engaging in competitive ultimate frisbee. Some weekends find her maintaining the Batton’s farm, supporting Morgan at local horse events, or competing in an ultimate frisbee tournament. She is our service shop manager and takes pride in the trailers we are so fortunate to work on. If you see Lexi at the shop, be sure to swing by, say hello, and most importantly, give her dog Kai a treat!

Brent Batton

Brent Batton is the office manager for The Hitch & Tow. He is Paul’s youngest brother and has been helping with The Hitch & Tow on his off time for several years. Brent was born in Aiken and has lived here most of his life. His hobbies include taking pictures and cleaning cars in his spare time. He lives in Warrenville with his brother and he has a 1 year old tuxedo cat named Sylvester. He was started as a full time Hitch & Tow teammate in August of 2018. Previously, Brent worked as a technician for the Bridgestone plant in Trenton, South Carolina. He works in our new office building and helps with sales paperwork and inventory ordering.
